HIRERS HANDBOOK

The following guide applies to all bookings including Tangihanga (funeral ceremonies) and is in place to support your time at the Marae.

All people responsible for making the booking and organising your hui should read the handbook and be aware of the rules and processes of using the Marae. By booking the Marae we will assume that you have agreed to the following terms and conditions contained throughout this handbook.

Any breach may result in forfeit of all or part of the deposit or cancellation of the event/hireage, refusal to accept future bookings or extra charges being incurred.

The Marae is governed by Ngāti Ueoneone (protocols) and tikanga (processes) put in place by the Marae Board of Trustees and from time to time the trust or representatives may support you in ensuring our kawa and requirements are upheld. They speak to the organiser if they see areas of neglect or not non-compliance to the terms and conditions.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the Marae Administrator

Thank you for your co-operation.
